Training for Staff Members of the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan

In partnership with Swedish Committee for Afghanistan (SCA), Afghan Australian Research and Management Consulting (ARM Consulting) trained 84 individuals (26% women; 74% through three training sessions held at Kabul Management Office (KMO) in August-October 2018.
The first training, titled; Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Presentation Skills, Conflict Management, and Negotiation Skills, was a 5-day training held between August 30, 2018, and September 4, 2018, in which 27 individuals (9 women; 18 men) participated. The second training was about advanced report writing and proposal writing, held on October 14-15, 2018, through which 33 individuals (6 women; 27 men) got trained on a wide range of topics relating to writing effective reports and proposals. The last training was about two days, conducted on 24-25 October, in which 24 participants (7 women; 17 men) learned about Organizational Behavior and Professionalism in the Workplace.
The involved training used a wide range of adult learning methods, including; presentations, group work, practice sessions, video analysis, brainstorming, role-plays, skills self-assessments, and ice-breakers.
