Project Title: Evaluation of Social Protection Assistance to GBV Victims in Urban Displacement

Project Description: ARM Consulting administered an external end-line evaluation of the “Social Protection Assis­tance to SGBV Victims in Urban Displacement” project based on five evaluation criteria; Efficiency, Effectiveness, Relevance, Impact, and Sustainability. The evaluation aimed to determine whether the project has accomplished its intended objectives and outline lessons learned and best practices that could be replicated in future Social Protection projects.

The end-line evaluation involved face-to-face structured interviews with 375 project beneficiaries (70 percent women; 30 percent men) in ten target areas of Herat and Nangarhar provinces. The evaluation team also extensively consulted DRC, the national implementing partners, and relevant government officials through In-depth Interviews (IDIs). Furthermore, the evaluation involved four Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with the project beneficiaries in the target communities.
